Griddle Steaks and Chicken is a small but comfortable and warm restaurant along
Maginahawa Street in Sikatuna Village.

Known for being a travel – inspired
restaurant, its interiors will definitely set the mood of the diners to plan
out and arrange for their next journey.

Upon arrival, a blown up map
in a blast of orange will greet the visitors. On its right, airport-inspired directions
as to where to go next are posted.
Travel trinkets are peppered
around the dining area. There are adorable mini luggage music boxes, key chain
souvenirs which Pinoys are known of collecting and nostalgic post cards.

The tables are also printed
with letter stamps from different countries which would make one feel really on
travel mode.
Even the tissue holder is
consistent with the theme and over- all ambiance of this restaurant as it
purports itself to be a foreign passport!

But the most striking accent of
this restaurant are the hanging miniature airplanes and globes. They would
definitely wow the guests as they float above the ceilings.
As its name suggests, the best
seller in this restaurants are chicken and steak meals. But they also serve
pasta dishes and a number of appetizers and beverages.

Lechon Taco, a
fusion of Mexican and Pinoy cuisine is a pleasant surprise in the taste buds. The
star of fiestas, lechon, in bits, is enveloped in a soft taco shell along with fresh
chopped cabbage and sliced tomatoes.

The Pasta Pomodoro with Pesto Chicken deserves a two thumbs up as well.
Flavor of tomato on the fettuccine and the tang of pesto in the chicken breast very well
- complemented one another.

about the Iced Mocha though.
